What We Accept

We are looking for diverse voices and mediums for sharing content about all things cannabis. You can submit:

Written Content: Personal essays, mental health journeys, strain/product reviews, culture critiques, poetry, or short creative fiction.
Media Content: Photography, digital art, or short-form video clips that fit the site’s aesthetic.

The Anonymity & Transparency Rule

Your privacy is incredibly important to us. If your story involves sensitive topics (like employment or health), you are completely welcome to publish under a pseudonym or remain 100% anonymous to the public.

Please Note: While the public won’t know who you are, full transparency must be given to the Editor. You must provide your real name and a valid email address with your submission so we can verify the story and communicate with you. We will never share your real identity without your explicit permission.

Editorial Discretion

While we want to hear every voice, submitting content does not guarantee a feature on our page.

The Undergrowth reserves the right to choose which pieces are published.
All publishing decisions are at the Editor’s sole discretion.
We reserve the right to perform light editing for length, clarity, grammar, and layout formatting to ensure it matches the tone of the site.

The Interview: If it's a good fit for the site, the Editor will set up a casual, low-pressure chat with you (via phone, video call, or structured email messaging—whatever makes you most comfortable).
We Craft the Narrative: The Editor will take your raw thoughts, memories, and insights and shape them into a beautiful, professional, editorial-grade piece.
Final Approval: You get the final look! We will send you the draft before it ever goes live to ensure it feels authentic to your experience and accurately represents your voice.
